Talking Box
What if the container told you everything about its content? Or a quiz or a game helped find the right product for someone? We bring you the Itasystem Talking Box. Come and hear a different story.
Packaging that literally speaks.
Good packaging protects you. Excellent packaging communicates and protects. Revolutionary packaging protects and communicates by talking.
At Itasystem, we designed the Talking Box, the innovative packaging that combines the material dimension with the digital world, thanks to the use of augmented reality.
This incredible innovation goes beyond the narrative boundaries that can be confined to product information alone. It harnesses augmented reality technology thanks to multimedia resources.
What is augmented reality?
Augmented reality is a technology that enriches human sensory perception through images, data, experiences, animations and much more. Users receive information that they could not perceive with their five senses alone on devices such as smartphones, tablets and webcams on PCs, thanks to an endless digital (and narrative) space.
How is the Talking Box used?
Simply scan the QR code on the product packaging to be transported into a multimedia experience which has been designed and diversified based on that very product. All that you need is a device with a camera and web access.
Not only does the Talking Box enable you to learn more about the content (perhaps from the speaker’s voice) and the manufacturer, but also to interact, answering quizzes and questions and thus also collecting user preferences, for example.
What advantages does the Talking Box offer?
- Extension of the narrative space beyond the mere surface of the box
- Immersive, interactive and customised user experiences
- A great novelty on the market for consumers as well as producers
In addition, it offers a strategic analysis of the interest generated by the product, the interactions obtained and detailed reports on user behaviour with valuable data output, such as:
- Opening
- Click
- Heatmaps in the specific case of a product display that highlight the most observed area or element that caught the user’s attention
- Biometric recognition: it detects gender, target, emotion (by detecting positive or negative expressions) and skin colour using artificial intelligence
