Description
The fish labelling machine is innovative, modern and functional.
The result of extensive research and development, the new fish labelling machine is an efficient and functional automatic labeller. It allows for the automatic insertion of seals and arrow tags into foodstuffs with variable tracking data (such as name, origin, batch, additives, etc.), as well as the related automated refill system.
The fish labelling system consists of a structural base, a vision system and an adjustable speed conveyor belt. It also features several stations such as:
- Workpiece positioning vision station: a support structure and installed cameras allow for the identification of the workpiece position.
- Arrow tag-shooting station: a structure housing two Cartesian axis systems and the two sealing guns.
- Automatic reloading station: designed to reload the gun. The design idea is to alternate the use of the guns by allowing one to operate while the other is reloading. This system ensures the continuous operation and processing of the fish labelling machine.
- Control station: a structure featuring a recognition camera which identifies the presence of the seal on the product and notifies the next station of any punching errors and seal failures.
- Reject unloading station: consists of a sorter and a pneumatic rotating actuator dedicated to quality control, with conveyance of any unsuitable parts to a reject container.
This labelling system for fish is an absolute novelty on the current scene. It allows the worker’s job to be replaced by a machine that automates and optimises the efficiency and quality of seal application. It thus eliminates any human error, implementing and improving the traceability of food chains.
The innovation brought about by the fish labelling machine also brings important improvements in terms of saving plastic in the environment. It reduces packaging and waste, and relieves operators from tiring and routine work.
